Pahalagahan mo ang bawat pagtitipon ng pamilya, dahil hindi lahat ng nakaupo sa hapag ngayon ay palaging naroon.

Ang mga yakap na tila karaniwan ngayon ay darating ang panahong siyang pinaka-mamimiss mo. Ang mga simpleng usapan na halos hindi natin napapansin ay magiging mga alaala mong pinakamamahalin.

Hindi humihinto ang oras, at tahimik na nagbabago ang buhay. Lumalaki ang mga bata, tumatanda ang mga magulang, at ang mga lolo’t lola ay nagiging mga kuwentong isinasalaysay natin na may mga ngiti at bahagyang luha.

Iyan ang dahilan kung bakit napakahalaga ng bawat pagtitipon. Bawat sandaling pinagsaluhan ay isang piraso ng walang-hanggan na nakatago sa isang karaniwang araw.

Yakapin nang mas mahigpit, tumawa nang mas matagal, magsalita nang may pagmamahal, at makinig nang hindi tinitingnan ang oras.

Darating ang araw na ang tila isa pang ordinaryong pagtitipon ng pamilya ay magiging pananabik, at ang matitira na lamang ay ang pag-ibig na ibinahagi mo, ang presensiyang ibinigay mo, at ang mga alaala ninyong sabay na nilikha.

Ang Pasko ay panahon ng kasayahan, pamilya, at pagbibigayan—pero para sa ilan, ito rin ay panahon ng pag-alala at pananabik sa mga mahal na wala na.

Normal na makaramdam ng lungkot kahit puno ng maningning na ilaw at himig ng awiting Pamasko ang paligid. Huwag pilitin maging masaya; pahalagahan ang pahinga at tahimik na sandali.

Ipagdiwang ang kanilang alaala sa simpleng paraan—sindihan ang kandila, magdasal, o ibahagi ang kuwento nila sa hapag.

Sa gitna ng sakit, may pag-asa sa presensya ng Diyos at sa mga taong kasama pa rin natin.

Ang pag-ibig nila ay nananatili, kahit hindi na sila pisikal na nasa ating piling.
