The Maluso RHU once again awarded by Philhealth - The RAWATEN 2025: Pagkilala at Pasasalamat! held last October 16, 2025 at LM Metro Hotel, Zamboanga.

We are honored to received this achievement as it reflects the institution's unwavering dedication to providing quality and accessible healthcare under the dedication and supervision of our MHO, Dr. Shalhua Sahipa-Yasin.

Representing Maluso RHU during the event was Ms. Naja Suaib - Philhealth Coordinator, Ms. Sameera Ajiji - Philhealth Cocoordinator and Mr. Qamar Hataman - HRMO.

Despite the threat of Bad Weather, the Provincial Health Office under the good leadership of Provincial Health Officer Dr. Sharefa Ann Abbas & Chief of technical Dr. Saifunnasrin Hajan in partnership with Maluso RHU under the leadership of our active & supportive Municipal Health Officer Dr. Shalhua Sahipa-Yasin conducted medical mission at Tamuk Island in celebration of Indigenous People's Month Celebration.

This success would not be possible without the support of Barangay Chairman Hon. Faisal Hajul who personally welcomes us, likewise to the staff of Maluso MDRRMO & Maluso Coastguard who secures our safety throughout the travel & activity.

Services offered were Consultation with free medications, BLood Typing, HIV screening, Sputum Collection, philhealth profiling, Philpen and advocacy on different health programs was conducted.

For listing and screening, please proceed to the Out-Patient Department (OPD), Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and look for Ms. Fedelis Morales.
