Our village was filled with extra sunshine this week as our Champs participated in our special Easter activities.

From egg-citing hunts to creative crafts, every activity was designed to celebrate the "little wins" and the steady progress our children make every day. At Play Champs Academy, we believe that every season is an opportunity for new beginnings and purposeful play.

A Time for Rest & Reflection: Our Holy Week Schedule 🕊️

At Play Champs Kids Center, we believe that growth happens not just in the classroom, but also in the quiet moments of reflection and connection with our loved ones. As we observe the sanctity of Holy Week, our village will be taking a short break to recharge and spend quality time with our families.

With 19 years of teaching experience across both the Philippines and the United States, Teacher Karenn is the seasoned anchor of our academy. Her global perspective on education allows her to craft a classroom environment that is both diverse and effective.

She isn’t just an experienced educator; she is a lifelong learner currently pursuing her Master’s in Education with a major in Special Education. This specialized knowledge ensures that every activity she plans—from sensory play to social skill-building—is grounded in the latest evidence-based practices in inclusive education. "It fulfills me to see the daily growth that happens within our walls," she shares.

A Cum Laude Psychology graduate from De La Salle Lipa, Teacher Aia brings a fresh, science-backed approach to our team. Her background in psychology allows her to deeply understand the developmental milestones and emotional needs of every "Champ".

Teacher Aia is also a gifted musician! She brings her guitar and songwriting directly into the classroom, which is a massive edge for children who connect through rhythm and melody. 2 months old, and look at how much we’ve grown... but we still have room for more! 💙💛

They say it takes a village to raise a child, but it takes a truly special team to build that village from the ground up. In just two short months, Play Champs has become a second home for so many families in Malvar—and our team is the heart of it all.

Our recent Kamustahan Night was a chance to breathe, laugh, and celebrate the incredible progress we’ve seen in our halls. We work hard, but we make sure to pour back into each other just as much.
