🌹 9th Day Novena Prayer for Teacher Kathy 🌹

It is never easy to let go of someone who has given so much love, light, and kindness to all of us. Our hearts still ache with the loss of our beloved Kathy, but we hold on to faith, knowing she is now at peace in God’s embrace.

From the depths of our hearts, THANK YOU. Your kindness and heartfelt expressions have been a great comfort to us during this difficult time. Though Tita Kathy may no longer be with us physically, her spirit, warmth, and the love she shared will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Your support has reminded us that her impact reaches far beyond our family, touching so many lives with her generosity, kindness, and beautiful soul. We are deeply grateful for every prayer, every message, and every act of love shown to us.

2 Sundays ago, I went to NKTI Emergency room. Referred for checking of fluid flow of my perm cath by 1 of the Dialysis doctors of my Center. It was a quick one, I think less than a minute. All went well.
The waiting to be called for the procedure, and the waiting to be called for my turn to pay took so long! However, very happy with the outcome!

MARCH 13TH IS WORLD KIDNEY DAY! Theme is "ARE YOUR KIDNEYS OK? DETECT EARLY, PROTECT KIDNEY HEALTH."

Obviously my kidneys are not okay. :) Polycystic Kidney Disease is a progressive & genetic disease, inherited from my mother's side, and was confirmed of having it at age 26. I protected my kidneys by
a) eating low protein meals (which was not recommended by my Nephrologist, as my Creatinine level that time was still normal)
b) exercising (I enjoyed aerobics back then)
c) no smoking

Since my kidneys failed already, I had to go for Hemodialysis 3x per week. My sessions started May 2024 at Philippine Heart Center, and continued in Singapore in June 2024 til February 2025. Im back in Manila so my sessions are held in Sucat, Parañaque.

My session this afternoon was not okay. I experienced headache and was nauseous.

Time to rest!
