" Same Old in a New Different" on July 10, 2025 at Wackwack Golf & Country Club!

After all the festivities and many more yet to come, we pause for a socio-civic program that will provide merriment to the children under the care of DSWD this yuletide season.

We have prepared a Christmas Party for them and will provide meals which we will share with them in a genuine act of oneness with these kids.

Dubbed JOYFUL, TOYFUL CHRISTMAS, we are also giving away “pamaskong handog” in the form of toys and books.

If you would like to give of your share of toys and books for these children, please drop them off in the Pedia Office and we will make certain they reach the beneficiaries.

You can also join us! BE PRESENT on December 14, 2023 10am-12 nn (Venue: TBA) and participate in the games and fun we hope to impart to these young ones.

In commemoration of Autism Awareness Day on April 3, 2023, the MCMC Department of Pediatrics in collaboration with the PWD Affairs Division and Office of the Vice Mayor of Mandaluyong City will embark on a project for special children with AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER. It will be a painting workshop by Art Guru Maestro Fernando Sena.

On the one hand, this program will uplift the morale of these children, enhance their creativity, inspire them to do something wonderful and of value. On the other hand, those who will see the product of their work will be motivated to help the parents of these children and to support the institution that cares for them.

Everyone is welcome to attend, watch, participate, and engage with the children involved in the program.

The finished artworks will later on be displayed in the Blue Building and subsequently in the lobby of MCMC.

Varicella (Bulutong) is a highly contagious disease and is one of the leading causes of morbidity in the Philippines. This Valentine's Day, in response to the growing number of Varicella cases in the community and part of the drive for a more ENHANCED VACCINATION PROGRAM in the city, the Department of Pediatrics, in partnership with the City Health Office and the City Nutrition Committee, through the Ciara Marie Foundation, will give out free varicella vaccinations to children (1-6 years old) in Brgy. Daang Bakal, with the aim of stopping the spread of the disease, thereby, preventing its complications.
