For about 3 years ago, on a night of July, our dear friend Jill Monsod, was rushed to the hospital due to a sudden fall in their home's parking area.
It was not just a simple fall that you will have bruise here and will go off in a few days or so. We hope so, but its not..
Jill was found walking disorientated with shirt drenched in blood from her face with few of her teeth missing from the impact.
She was diagnosed with Brain Aneurysm resulting from stroke and having multiple head injuries from the fall.
She's conscious but also disconnected of what was happening around her; then immediately was admitted in the ICU.
Doctors made necessary laboratories and were advised that she needs to undergo an immediate open brain surgery to relieve the trauma caused by the fall.
Having the operation was indeed a critical decision to make, considering the possible side effects from the procedure~ the husband and the family braving themselves up, placing the trust and faith to the doctors and to The Creator, they have proceeded with the operation.
After an extensive 5-hour operation, procedure was a success but that was just the beginning.
Foreseeing the possible results will be as crucial as the procedure. Motor skills will be needed to re-learn again, speech also took an effect as well as holding yourself up sitting was affected.
These steps means further medical assistance on therapies and other expenses during her recovery.
Imagine that happening for the second time, unimaginable.
Last 28th of June our dear Friend Jill was rushed again to the hospital with the same diagnosis but on the other side of the brain with ruptured aneurysm and had undergone series of laboratories and open brain surgery. as of this Sunday, the obbservation period of the success of the operation had ended and were advised to be transferred to a regular room.
With all that said, with all the procedures done; we are asking for your help to support us on this fundraising activity we are offering as we endure every friend's nightmare; hoping this will cover a part of the associated medical cost that will incur during her recovery.
