The Philippine Red Cross Mandaluyong City Branch of Rizal Chapter started the Branch operation on June 2009. Since then, Red Cross Mandaluyong City Branch has been known in supporting and helping the projects of the local government through its humanitarian services. Arlyn Banks as Branch Administrator from June 2009 to November 2010. She started the introduction of Red Cross 143 and other Red Cross Services to the community. Jaimee Musni took over the position following the promotion of Ms. Arlyn Banks to the National Headquarters of the Philippine Red Cross. Musni served the branch from December 2010 to October 2012. The Branch was then composed of three (3) staff including Joahna Celestine Bandal handling Red Cross Youth and other services and Ms. Blanca Nuyles Estacio handling the Branch Accounting. Enriquez is the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Mandaluyong City branch. At present, Mandaluyong City Branch has a total of eleven (11) staff and support staff headed by Mr. Dacles as the Branch Administrator. He introduces several changes in the management and staffing that enable the branch to deliver services effectively. Mandaluyong City Branch continuously increasing its capacity by training fundraising volunteers, responders, instructors and facilitators of different services to help the branch deliver services and raise enough funds to sustain the branch operation. Through the effort of the Board of Directors headed by Chairman Fabio J. Enriquez the branch was able to solicit donations to purchase its first utility vehicle. Mandaluyong City Branch is known for its blood samaritan program, helping indigent clients in need of blood, this project was created in partnership with the local government unit of Mandaluyong through the movie surcharge, because of the success of this project other organization such as the Ciarra marie Foundation donated additional fund to cater the need of indigent clients.

IN PHOTOS | Dense Ten Solutions Philippines Corporation has extended support to communities affected by Typhoon Tino through a โ‚ฑ20,000 cash donation to the Philippine Red Cross Rizal Chapter โ€“ Mandaluyong City Branch.

The donation aims to bolster ongoing relief efforts, helping fund essential emergency assistance such as food packs, clean water, hygiene kits, and temporary shelter support for families heavily impacted by the typhoon.

The contributions from the private sector significantly strengthen our ability to respond swiftly during emergencies. This how we can do what we do to support the communities in times of need.

Typhoon Tino recently brought heavy rains and flooding across several regions, displacing families and damaging homes and infrastructure. Relief and rehabilitation operations continue as affected communities work toward recovery.

As Super Typhoon Uwan continues to move closer to the country, the Philippine Red Cross Rizal Chapter โ€“ Mandaluyong City Branch has heightened its preparedness and response operations, with the weather system expected to bring heavy rains and strong winds across parts of Luzon in the coming days.

The branch has alerted its network of volunteers for possible deployment in anticipation of flooding, evacuation, and other emergency situations. Coordination has also been made with the Mandaluyong City Local Government Unit (LGU) and local disaster response offices to ensure full readiness for any eventuality.

Residents are advised to remain vigilant, monitor official announcements from authorities, and prepare emergency supplies in case evacuation becomes necessary.

The Philippine Red Cross assures the public of its continued readiness to provide humanitarian assistance before, during, and after the typhoonโ€™s passage.

As families gathered to honor their departed loved ones, the ๐๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐ž ๐‘๐ž๐ ๐‚๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐‘๐ข๐ณ๐š๐ฅ ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ฉ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐Œ๐š๐ง๐๐š๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฒ๐จ๐ง๐  ๐‚๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐ซ๐š๐ง๐œ๐ก staff and volunteers quietly stood by โ€” ready to lend a hand, a smile, and a heart willing to serve.

The branch volunteers and staff were deployed across major cemeteries in the city, including ๐’๐š๐ง ๐…๐ž๐ฅ๐ข๐ฉ๐ž ๐๐ž๐ซ๐ข ๐๐š๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ก ๐‘๐จ๐ฆ๐š๐ง ๐‚๐š๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐ข๐œ ๐‚๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฒ, ๐๐š๐ซ๐š๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ž ๐๐š๐ซ๐ค ๐‚๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฒ, and ๐†๐š๐ซ๐๐ž๐ง ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‹๐ข๐Ÿ๐ž ๐๐š๐ซ๐ค ๐‚๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฒ. First aid stations were strategically set up to provide assistance to the public throughout the observance period.

A total of ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ— ๐ฉ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ received medical attention, consisting mostly of vitals monitoring and treatment for minor wounds. No major incidents were reported, thanks to the coordinated efforts of the Red Cross teams and local authorities.

This Undas 2025, the PRC Mandaluyong City Branch family stood with the community โ€” tending to those in need and honoring those weโ€™ve lost.
