Traditional Chinese Medicine draws its history in many centuries of myth and fact toward scientifically proven realm of medicine that is probably the time of Han Dynasty, more than 2,000 years ago. The Yellow Emperor (2697-2597 B.C.), a wise and virtuous man who defeated the invasion of a barbaric tribe to unite all the tribes in China into one nation for the first time. Ever searching for knowledge to properly guide his people, a famous dialogue took place between the Yellow Emperor and his physician, Qi Bo, a famous healer and scholar of that era. The recorded conversation between them revealed such subjects as human anatomy and physiology, etiology of disease, pathology, diagnosis and treatment, disease prevention, health preservation, man and nature, application of Taoist theories of Yin and Yang, Five elements, acupuncture, and more. These conversations were the contents of a monumental work called the Yellow Emperor’s Classics of Internal Medicine (Huang Di Nei Jing) written during the Warring States era around 305-204 B.C. In tribute to the Yellow Emperor and his healer Qi Bo, the Yellow Emperor Healing Center was established to offer an effective and cost efficient approach to achieving optimum health through traditional, holistic and integrative medicine. We re-orient the health care process to create a natural healing environment where patients and practitioners fully interacts in realizing the full range of physical, emotional, psychological, social, and spiritual well-being of a person.
