Barangka Itaas is a barangay that lay at the second distrcit of Mandaluyong City

Barangka Itaas has a land area of 17.21 has. with a population aproximately 10,000 and a 9,000 registered voters divided into a 65 precints. The Barangka Itaas is a remarkable in readiness and awareness with regards to a rescue mission, medical treatment, fire scenarios and counter-terrorism when in comes into a different conditions to counter act with a tragic catastrophe occurs. Behind this are well known trained and practiced by the experts.

BRIEF HISTORY OF BARANGKA

Alongside Brgy. Buayang Bato is Barangka, then a single barangay but later divided into four (4) during the time of Municipal Mayor Bonifacio Javier: Barangka Ilaya (Uptown), Barangka Itaas (Upper) Barangka Ibaba (Lower), and Barangka Drive. It was said that at the time when the Philippines was under the Spanish Regime, there lived an old woman named Barang who had a young daughter. As she was calling her mother for help “Ka Barang, Ka Barang!” the surrounding hills echoed her cry which was heard by the Spaniards. And as the story goes, the place came to be called Barangka.

Narito ang mga PAALALA at mga HAKBANG sa PAGBOTO sa gaganaping BARANGAY AND SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN ELECTIONS sa 30 Oktubre 2023 (Lunes).

MAGSISIMULA ang pagboto sa ganap na 7:00 AM hanggang 3:00 PM (maliban kung itinakda ng COMELEC sa ibang oras)

Ang pagboto sa EMERGENCY ACCESSIBLE POLLING PLACE (EAPP) ay mula 7:00 AM hanggang 1:00 PM para sa PWDs, senior citizens at mga kababaihang buntis.

Sa lahat po ng mga kababaihan na gustong magpa Cervical Screening at Breast Exam ay maaari po kayong magpunta sa Barangka Ibaba/Itaas Health Center upang makapag palista.

At ito po ay gagawin sa Highway Hills Health Center, mangyari lang po na magpunta po kayo ng 7:30 ng umaga bukas sa ating center para po makasabay po kayo sa service po ng ating barangay.
