In 2017, Sir Arnel, a security guard, donated blood for his wife's surgery. Unfortunately, his wife passed on.

However, this motivated Sir Arnel to donate blood regularly, to share the gift of life to those who are need. ❤️🥰

Believing in paying it forward, Sir Arnel donated more than 10x since then. 😇

Ara, a medical technologist student from Quezon City, saw our call for AB Negative Blood Donor for a cancer patient.

RH Negative blood, a rare blood group, accounts for less than .1% of our total population. We register them to our RH Negative database so we can contact them whenever they are needed.

'DUGONG BOMBO, NAGBABALIK!"

Samahan ang Philippine Red Cross at BOMBO RADYO PHILIPPINES sa muling pagbubukas ng Dugong Bombo, ang malawakang blood donation sa bansa! 24 cities ang lalahok sa mass blood letting activity na ito na gaganapin bukas, Sabado, November 18!

Ang aktibidad na ito ay upang matugunan ang demand ng dugo ng ating mga kababayan na nangangailangan nito dahil may sakit, dahil sa operasyon, at iba pa. Ang initiative na ito ay malaking tulong sa PRC dahil tuwing December at January ay kakaunti ang blood donors dahil sa mga Holiday “Celebrations” o “Year-end activities”.

Lance Gokongwei, President and CEO of JG Summit Holdings, Inc. (JGSHI), donated blood through the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) during a Blood Donation Drive at Robinsons Equitable Tower in ADB Avenue, Ortigas Center.

The bloodletting among workers of JGSHI and JG Summit Olefins Corp. (JGSOC) in the building was the first collaboration between JGSHI and PRC. The two organizations plan to hold the event at least twice annually thereafter.
