The authentic Bam Aquino 🇵🇭
Over 20 years of resibo of how he affected my enterprenorial journey.

- Jan Vincent Sarabia Ong

I’ve known Bam Aquino since 2008. Throughout these 2 decades, he is unshakable in his values. You turn his world upside down and try to flip him over (he is quiet tall!). He will still be the Bam who champions the youth and entrepreneurs. His proven consistency is what we need today.

I first met him when I interviewed him for his coffee table book “Young Southeast Asia” that celebrated heroes in the region. During this time, he was National Youth Commission chairman and giving micro loans to small businesses through Hapinoy. His efforts here have been awarded internationally. Before that, he was a host for Y Speak. It was a show that brought youth issues on TV. When he became senator in 2013, he again advocated for youth and entrepreneurs. He supported esports players and made a law for business mentorship and promotion through Negosyo Centers. On personal note, Bam is a person who shows up in small and big things. We rarely meet-up. Yet, he never seen zones me when I ask for support or advice. He is bombarded by a billion tasks to do but he manages to spare the time to do uplift everyone. It impressive because of his public stature. Bam is the same person you see in the billboard and when you shake his hand in person. He is true inside and out. We need this type of government official with this consistent and tested track record. In an unpredictable world, we need Bam who has proven consistently over the past 20 years that he will always fight for the youth, entrepreneurs and his values.

For the elections

Vote for your high-conviction names (not the convicted ones 😂).

You DO NOT have to fill all 12 slots on your ballot. In fact, if you only trust 4 or 5 candidates, that’s more than enough. Here’s why:

* Every name you write is a vote to help them win. If you’re unsure about someone — skip them. Don’t accidentally help candidates you’re only half-sure of.

* Bullet voting (writing only the names you strongly support) helps those candidates rise in ranking. It’s not about quantity — it’s about focus.

* Skip the top 6–7 survey leaders. They’re already safe. Your vote is more powerful when used to BOOST UNDERDOGS with proven track records who are on the edge of the Top 12 — especially those known for working quietly but effectively on EDUCATION, CLEAN AUDITS, FARMER SUPPORT, GOOD GOVERNANCE.

* If you support 3-4 candidates with all your heart but then add 7-8 names you’re unsure of, you weaken the impact of your top choices — especially if those 8 are polling close to them.

* Avoid voting for entertainers, dynastic placeholders, and headline-chasers. That’s how weak candidates sneak in — through name recall, not merit.

Remember: Your vote isn’t just a list — it’s a filter. Use it to block noise and elevate THOSE WHO TRULY WORKED TO UPLIFT THE MAJORITY.
