Ngayong World AIDS Day, sama-sama nating ginugunita ang tapang, lakas, at di-matitinag na pag-asa ng bawat Pilipinong naapektuhan ng HIV. Ang tema ngayong taon—“Overcoming Disruption, Transforming the AIDS Response”—ay isang paalala na kahit gaano kalaki ang mga pagsubok, kaya nating magtagumpay kapag nagkakaisa tayo.

May we all have a meaningful World AIDS Day commemoration. Sama-sama tayong tumindig para sa isang Pilipinas na walang stigma, walang takot, at walang maiiwan.

Councilor Yanyan Ibay convened a Focus Group Discussion with UNAIDS Philippines and HASH - HIV & AIDS Support House, Inc to lay the groundwork for a comprehensive and sustainable HIV advocacy project in the City of Manila. 🙏🏻

The discussion focused on the planned rollout of initiatives aimed at training and capacitating youth leaders to become advocates for public health and responsible awareness within their communities.

By empowering SKs and strengthening partnerships with key health organizations, this initiative reflects the city’s proactive commitment to creating a community that is inclusive, informed, and compassionate.
