Latest reporting from the CDC shows this year’s flu season is the deadliest non-pandemic flu season for U.S. children. 216 children have died. This number passed last year’s flu season, which set a previous high for a non-pandemic season with 207 pediatric deaths. Even with seasonal flu activity declining since its February peak, AAP and CDC recommend everyone six months and older get vaccinated against the flu. Protect your baby from measles with 2 doses of measles vaccine.

1️⃣ In countries where measles is common it is vital to give the first dose around 9 months of age, in other countries at 12-15 months of age.

2️⃣ Give the second dose later in childhood to ensure for full protection.

⏰ Remember: Infants can be vaccinated around 6 months of age if there is an outbreak or before travel to endemic countries.
