Following the fire incident in Barangay Cubacub on December 28, 2025, the Mandaue City Health Department, through the Cubacub Health Staff and led by Cluster Head Mamercio Sanchez, RN, promptly provided essential healthcare services to the affected residents.

The Mandaue City Health Clinical Laboratory has officially received its License to Operate for January 1 to December 31, 2026, issued by the Department of Health – Central Visayas Center for Health Development.

This renewal confirms the laboratory’s compliance with national standards and its continued commitment to providing quality laboratory services.

Congratulations to the Clinical Laboratory staff for their dedication in maintaining excellence in public health service.

On December 20, 2025, the Mandaue City Health Office, through the Labogon Health Center, organized a lecture on Purok Kalusugan and Mental Health held at the Barangay Labogon Session Hall.

The activity was facilitated by City Health staff Ralph Jason Perez, RN, Mamerco Sanchez, RN, and Vivien Amante,RN with the support of the Mandaue DMO Ms. Jane Ediza-Raagas, Mayang Salazar and Carl Anthony.

On December 20, 2025, the Mandaue City Health Office, through the Casili Health Center and Barangay Casili, successfully organized a Blood Donation Drive conducted by the Subnational Blood Center for Visayas.

The activity aimed to promote voluntary blood donation and help ensure a safe and adequate blood supply for patients in need.

The activity aimed to encourage voluntary blood donation and help ensure a safe and adequate blood supply for patients in need.

The Mandaue City Health Office under the leadership of Dr. Debra Maria C. Catulong conducted its Annual Program Implementation Review (PIR) on December 17, 2025, to assess program accomplishments, identify gaps and challenges, and strengthen strategies for improved health service delivery.

The activity served as a platform for program coordinators and stakeholders to present performance highlights, share best practices, and discuss priority actions for the succeeding year.

On December 14, 2025, the Mandaue City Health Department, through Barangay Opao and the Opao Health Center, in partnership with the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center - Dugong Alay Dugtong Buhay, successfully conducted a Blood Letting Activity organized by the University of Cebu Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue – Community Awareness, Relations, and Extension Services, held at the UCLM Annex 2 Social Hall.

The activity aimed to promote voluntary blood donation and help ensure an adequate and safe blood supply for patients in need.
