On August 22, 2025, the Mandaue City Health Office served as the medical team during the Senior Singing Contest, part of the 56th Charter Day Celebration. The team was led by Dr. Honey Grace Tripoli and Dr. Lisette Francine Parilla, with nurses Cheryl Decipulo, RN and Rosamie Rustia, RN.

𝗗𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗻𝗮𝗮𝗻

The Mandaue City Health Office,through the Paknaan Health Center, conducted a Dengue Awareness and Information Dissemination activity in Barangay Paknaan for 4Ps members.

The session aimed to raise awareness on dengue prevention and to inform the community about upcoming health activities and plans for better participation and preparedness.

On August 19, 2025, the Mandaue City Health Office, through the Jagobiao Health Center and in collaboration with Eversley Child Sanitarium, conducted a Blood Letting Activity to promote voluntary donation and support the continuous supply of safe blood.

On August 22, 2025, the Mandaue City Health Office, through the Canduman Health Center, and Brgy Canduman held a Family Planning Month celebration at the Canduman Housing Gym with 100 participants.

The event promoted awareness on responsible parenthood, reproductive health, and family.

𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘂𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲

The Mandaue City Health Office was awarded the Gold Certificate of Excellence at the 1st RESU Awards Ceremony on August 20, 2025, at Mandani Bay.

This honor recognizes our commitment to advancing disease surveillance and public health in Central Visayas, with the dedication of MIRIAM REGENCIA, RN, Disease Surveillance Nurse Coordinator, the hard work of our health workers in 27 barangays, and the support of Dr. Debra Maria Catulong, City Health Officer.

On August 19, 2025, the Mandaue City Health Office, through its DRRM-H Program led by Dr. Phyllis P. Bidon, Mr. Melchor Choy Valera, RN, and Mr. Jojo Montajes, conducted a cascading activity on Barangay DRRM-H Institutionalization for the barangays of Looc, Cubacub, Banilad, and Bakilid.

On August 19, 2025, the Mandaue City Health Office, led by Dr. Debra Maria C. Catulong, City Health Officer II, convened a meeting with representatives from the city’s 27 Health Center in preparation for the YAKAP Program launching on August 27, 2025.

The Mandaue City Health Office, through its Safe Motherhood Program led by Dr. Irah Franz Flores and Odoline Tan, RN, in partnership with Ms. Emmanuela Lumapas of BIDLISIW, held a meeting on the implementation of the AMUMA Project for Teenage Mothers.

The project will be piloted in four barangays: Paknaan, Umapad, Jagobiao, and Looc.

On August 19, 2025, the Mandaue City Health Office, through its program coordinators, conducted an orientation on the Department of Health (DOH) programs for newly hired Barangay Health and Nutrition Workers (BHNWs) at the City Health Office Conference Room.

The session also featured Ms. Maria Fe Teresa Castaños, a BHNW from Jagobiao, who shared her experiences in the field.

The activity aimed to equip the BHNWs with essential knowledge of DOH-mandated health programs implemented in the city.

On August 15, 2025, the Mandaue City Health Office, through the Jagobiao Health Center and in coordination with the ECS Blood Donation Committee, conducted a Blood Donation Orientation and a Lecture on the 4S Kontra Dengue Strategy in Sitio San Antonio, Jagobiao, Mandaue City to promote blood donation and strengthen dengue prevention efforts.

On August 17, 2025, the Mandaue City Health Office, led by Dr. Clyde Ortega and Nurse Emmanuel Ong, RN, provided health services and emergency support during the Boxing sa Plaza held for the city’s 56th Charter Day Celebration.

The team ensured the safety of participants and spectators through first aid, medical care, and emergency response.
