The Mandaue City Health Department, through the Casili Health Center, and Barangay Casili organized a Women's Health Caravan on June 28 2025, at the Casili Elememtary Gym.

This initiative aimed to provide accessible and comprehensive healthcare services to women in the community, empowering them to take charge of their health and well-being.

The Mandaue City Health Department, through the National HIV/AIDS and STI Prevention and Control Program (NASPCP), actively participated in the Technical Updates and Strategic Information and Response Planning (STIR-UP) Workshop and the OHASIS 2.0 Roll-Out Workshop organized by the Department of Health - NASPCP.

The workshops, held from June 23 to 27, 2025, aimed to strengthen local HIV and STI program implementation through updated technical guidance and effective data management using the enhanced OHASIS 2.0 platform.

The Mandaue City Health Department, represented by Dr. Mix Alegado, Dr. Efren Lumansag, Mr. Ralph Jason Perez, RN, and Mr. Jay Basubas, RN, participated in the Training on the Management of Animal Bite and Rabies Exposure for Physicians and Nurses in Central Visayas held from June 25 to 27, 2025, at Sarrosa International Hotel and Residential Suites, Cebu City.

The training provided essential updates on rabies prevention protocols, post-exposure management, and current strategies in community-based bite case surveillance.

Registered pharmacists Ms. Michelle Lyn Ceniza, RPh, and Ms. Grace Sadgnot, RPh, represented the department in strengthening pharmaceutical services through improved medicine management, dispensing, and patient care practices.

On June 27, 2025, the Mandaue City Health Office actively participated in the Orientation on the AMUMA Project spearheaded by the Bidlisiw Foundation in partnership with Natureโ€™s Spring.

The event also featured an Overview of the Program for Young Parents, delivered by Ms. Joy Casquijo of Eversley Child Sanitarium & General Hospital. The orientation was held at the Mandaue City Conference Room.
