The Chong Hua Hospital–Mandaue Department of Internal Medicine proudly celebrates the successful conduct of the SMART-CARE Training Program. Through shared expertise and strong collaboration, our community frontliners were empowered with essential skills in screening, monitoring, and advanced referral, strengthening the foundation of quality healthcare in our communities.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Debra Catulong (City Health Officer – Mandaue) for fostering a meaningful partnership with our institution. Her leadership has been instrumental in bridging Chong Hua Hospital–Mandaue with the nurses and primary healthcare providers of Mandaue City, paving the way for stronger, more integrated community healthcare.

Special thanks to Dr. Abe Montejo, our Course Director, for his leadership and unwavering commitment to the success of this program.
