Specially the last one - SEEK TIMELY
CONSULTATION.

The symptoms of Dengue can overlap with other viral illnesses, to cite:
-high fever
-severe headache
-pain behind the eyes/retroorbital pain
-muscle and joint pains
-nausea
-vomiting
-swollen glands
-rash

DO NOT WAIT FOR SYMPTOMS TO GO SEVERE BEFORE YOU SEEK CONSULTATION.

Also be watchful of these symptoms, that is often present WHEN FEVER HAS GONE AWAY:
-severe abdominal pain
-persistent vomiting
-rapid breathing
-bleeding gums or nose
-fatigue
-restlessness
-blood in vomit or stool
-being very thirsty
-pale and cold skin
-feeling weak

Also, I am now able to accept patients for OUTPATIENT CONSULTATION who have AVEGA/INTELLICARE as their HMO. Just kindly present your Letter of Authorization (LOA) on the day of consult.

Lastly, for my patients in Lapu-lapu, my home clinic is well on its way, looking forward to serving you all.
