🧠 𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬: 𝐍𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠

Last December 1, 2025, the Internal Committee successfully
conducted the CORE Skills: Neurological Examination workshop — an essential hands-on activity designed to strengthen the clinical competence of our members.

Participants revisited key neurological assessment techniques, practiced systematic approaches to motor and sensory exams, and refined their skills through guided demonstrations and supervised return demonstrations. This activity not only enhanced confidence in performing neurologic assessments but also reinforced the importance of accuracy, patient-centered care, and teamwork in clinical settings.

A huge thank you to our Internal Committee for spearheading this initiative and to all participants for their active engagement and dedication to continual growth. Together, we uphold CORE’s commitment to fostering excellence in medical training and community-oriented healthcare.

Here’s to more learning, more skills, and more opportunities to grow as future physicians! 🩺🌟

Halad sa Virginia Medical Mission: Bringing Care, Compassion, and Community Together 🩺

Last November 29, 2025, our team had the privilege of serving the residents of Brgy. Basak, Compostela through the Halad sa Virginia Medical Mission. Led by our dedicated Doctor Volunteer, Dr. Janelle Ceniza, and supported by 14 passionate student volunteers, we spent the morning providing free medical consultations, answering health concerns, and offering guidance to those in need.

From 8AM to 12PM, we witnessed the power of community and the impact of teamwork in promoting health and wellness. Every smile, every consultation, and every interaction reminded us why service to others is truly invaluable.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thank you to everyone involved — our volunteers, the local community, and everyone who made this mission possible. Together, we continue to bring hope, health, and care where it’s needed most. 💙💛

In the aftermath of Typhoon Tino, even the smallest acts of care can mean so much. What started as leftover food from a generous donation turned into a chance to reach more families who were affected.

From those at Bacayan Elementary School to the nearby sitios, we went out into the community to share what we had one meal, one household, one smile at a time, and reminded our fellow Cebuanos that they are not facing this alone 🫂

Even in difficult times, kindness travels far. Together, we continue to rise, rebuild, and uplift one another. 💛💙✨

💙 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬, 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 💙

In the spirit of compassion and service, CORE, in collaboration with the CDUCM Student Council, successfully conducted a Medical Mission at Barangay Bacayan last November 11, 2025, extending care and relief to those affected by Typhoon Tino.

Through combined efforts the community received free: • Medical Consultations
• Vital Signs Monitoring
• Tetanus Toxoid Vaccination
• Leptospirosis Prophylaxis
• First Aid
• Random Blood Sugar Testing
• Free Medication Distribution
