Everything is starting to come together and its all because of the man behind it all along with the committee he has chosen to be along side him. Through this past month, Vince has handled to balance everything and brought this program to its feet together with the committees. Lets join them on the final stretch of this project plan during the implementation this coming Saturday -- May 06, 2023 from 8am till 12noon at Neneng Compound Gym, Barangay Tisa, Cebu City Cebu. See you then to hear the seminars prepared that would be relevant for the PWDs of the community. This is not only limited to them but also to the entire barangay Tisa community who are interested to learn more about the conditions that is common in the community - stroke.

The Project Committee Heads' first visit and pre-interview with the PWD President, Vice-President, and treasurer of Brgy. Tisa, Cebu City, Cebu last April 21, 2023, Friday talking about the proposed outreach program, the different needs of the PWD community of Brgy. Tisa, and other concerns that the PWD community encounters on a day-to-day basis that we, student physical therapists, are able to help improve on.

Satisfy your sweet tooths and support our cause at the same time! Every cookie purchase will help us raise funds for our benefeciaries -- the elderly PWDs of Barangay Tisa, Cebu City. Every purchase goes to funding our CBR program that focuses on raising awareness for the PWD community of Barangay Tisa while also educating them on basic rehabilitation protocols, home-based exercise to improve their conditions, and also teaching them other forms of management that they are able to do at home.

Bringing all people closer through wellness -- that is the goal we plan to achieve. We, the 3rd Year Physical Therapy students of Cebu Doctors' University, aims to raise the much needed awareness for the PWD community on Barangay Tisa, Cebu City and to give them the much needed assurance for the improvement in their quality of life through physical rehabilitation. We believe that PWDs are not just crippled people who are not able to do anything anymore. They are still people rich with talent, passion, and knowledge. We are here to get them back to their feet and let them live a life closer to normal. Through community-based rehabilitation, this is possible. We will make their disability into an ability.
