Being the center for Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome (APAS) and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) Testing in Cebu, LifeLab Diagnostics provides APAS and SLE laboratory services to specialists doctors, hospitals and other laboratories in Cebu. Lupus is an autoimmune disease which can affect the joints and muscles, and also the skin, kidneys, nervous system, lungs, heart, blood-forming organs and blood vessels among others. Young women are most frequently affected, outnumbering male patients 20:1. The disease is found most often in persons 20 to 35 years of age, but it has been observed in all age groups. SLE is a worldwide disease particularly prevalent in Asians, Afro-Americans and Hispanics. In the Philippines, there are over 2000 Lupus patients (reported by rheumatologists from 1999 to 2007 ). Many more remain undiagnosed as public awareness of the disease is still lacking. At LifeLab Diagnostics, the following autoantibodies will be tested for SLE: anti-nuclear antibody (ANA), anti-dsDNA, anti-Ro/SSA, anti-chromatin, anti-thyroid microsome, and anti-cardiolipin antibodies.

ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE
Qualifications:
•Graduate of Accountancy, Management Accounting, Finance, and Business Administration major in Accounting or its equivalent
•Must have basic knowledge in accounting entries and ledger, BIR reports and remittances, Bookkeeping and asset inventory
•With 1 year or less relevant work experience; fresh graduate are welcome to apply.
•Excellent communication skills
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Proficient in using google applications (Docs, spreadsheet, etc.)

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Prepare and calculate billing statements
•Prepare and submit tax forms
•Compile financial records, documents and manage inventory records.
•Ensure the accounts receivable and payable are taken care of in a timely manner
•Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting manager such as but not limited to filing, indexing, and emailing
•Assist processing government compliances like SSS, PHILHEALTH, & PAG-IBIG •Assist and consequently conduct financial and internal audits.
