World Mental Health Day is observed today, calling for stronger action to protect and expand mental health support in times of crisis.

This year’s theme, “Access to Services: Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies,” highlights the urgent need to ensure mental health and psychosocial support reaches people affected by conflict, disaster, and displacement. In 2025, this call is more pressing than ever as humanitarian needs continue to rise here in the Philppines and in several countries.

In emergencies, one in three people experience a mental health condition, and one in twenty face severe conditions. Displacement and disrupted health systems make access to mental healthcare even harder.

Together, we must ensure that all people affected by crises have access to the care they need.

Our Story

Metro Psych Facility-Roads and Bridges to Recovery is a full service psychiatric care and rehabilitation center that provides customized care to its patients and trainees.

The Center respects the dignity of each individual undergoing treatment and rehabilitation under its auspices by delivering the best care possible through well trained clinical and non-clinical staff.

It adheres to the belief that patients and trainees need to be active participants in their own recovery, thus a program that encourages self-awareness that takes into consideration the individual’s specific needs is implemented during their stay in the Center.
