The CDU College of Medicine successfully hosted its 8th Stakeholdersโ€™ Research Forum today, September 4, 2025, held at Ampi 513 and online via Google Meet. With the theme, โ€œResearch for Change: Driving Community Health Development through Multi-Sectoral Partnershipsโ€, this annual forum serves as a platform to introduce students to the research priorities and agenda of various stakeholders, as well as to the current medical landscape of the Central Visayas region.

The hosted the CDU-USA Research Lecture and Collaboration Meeting on August 29, 2025 at CDU RM 412 in alignment with the newly formalized academic partnership between CDU and USA. Key components of the agreement include the establishment of student and faculty exchange programs to promote academic mobility and cross-cultural learning, as well as reciprocal access to USAโ€™s specialized laboratory facilities.

Representatives from the College of Medicine, College of Pharmacy, Department of Biology, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Department of Medical Technology, Department of Radiologic Technology, and Department of Physical Sciences presented their respective research frameworks and programs for Dr. Saludesโ€™ critique and recommendations.

This partnership represents a forward-looking step in building academic excellence through regional collaboration, innovation, and shared expertise.

CDU Program DAN-AG (Directly Assessing Nutritional Gaps in School-Age Children) successfully culminated in Stakeholdersโ€™ Research Forum held on August 28, 2025, at Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu - Niรฑa Hall.

We are greatly honored to have Gov. Pamela Baricuatro, Mr. Bryan Ybaรฑez, Dr. Elisse Nicole Catalan, Dr. Eugenia Mercedes Caรฑal, and Ms. Pilar Pilapil as esteemed panel discussants as we presented our findings and emphasized the value of evidence-based health policies. We were also joined by local government leaders from different cities and municipalities, representatives from the Mandaue City Health Office, Department of Health, Department of Science and Technology, as well as the CDU administration and deans, CDU pitch presenters, fellow researchers, and innovators.

AUGUST SLIPPED AWAY! ๐Ÿ‚ As the nears the conclusion of its project implementation phase, our team gathered for a culminating strategic planning session last August 23-24, 2025 at Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu.
