On June 30, 2025, the UCLM Community Awareness, Relations, and Extension Services (CARES) successfully conducted the Coordinators Review of Programs and Strategic Planning at the UCLM Mini Restaurant.

The activity was graced by our esteemed Resource Speaker, Dr. Cesar Gulang, and attended by Brgy. Opao SK Chairman, Hon. Kyle Semblante and Mr. Mark Gil the GAD Focal of the University

The event gathered the CARES Coordinators, Assistant Coordinators, Student Representatives, and Alumni, as we reflected on the accomplishments of the past year and mapped out innovative, sustainable, and inclusive plans for the upcoming school year.

We are proud to share that the University of Cebu Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue – CARES Office was recognized by Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC) for its exceptional dedication and remarkable contribution in organizing mobile blood donation activities that help save lives.

The recognition was formally awarded last June 24, 2025, during a "Adlaw Pasalamat sa Dugong Halad" held at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel.

This honor reflects the unwavering commitment of UCLM CARES to promote volunteerism, health advocacy, and community service. Thank you to our hardworking volunteers, partners, and student donors who continuously support our mission of making a meaningful impact.

As Paknaan is the newly adopted community of UCLM CARES, we are committed to extending assistance and providing relief during this challenging time.
