Can you even see when your sight is too bright?

We often try to look at the light in our darkest times, but what if the light blinds us until we can no longer see the need to feel the negative emotions?

Czesca, Kiara, and Stephanie talk about embracing the dark, crying when your eyes call for it, getting angry when your heart is bursting, and not sweeping the stress under the rug. This episode is a reminder that every emotion, no matter how positive or negative, is valid and must be released one way or another.

Through their own experience and advice, Czesca, Kiara, and Stephanie drew the line between toxic positivity and genuine optimism and how the former often disguises itself as the latter.

”Think positive” or face the reality and overcome all your emotions? 🫥

Maybe in some situations, thinking positively is not the solution. This mindset has been promoted by several people in order to overcome dire or difficult situations; however, in the long term, this mindset may actually lead people in the wrong direction rather than how it is believed to be.

Know more about this episode! Join Czesca, Kiara, and Stephanie as they talk about the nature of optimism and its limitation. ☝🏻🤓

"Sandali lang 'to"

Was it really for a temporary "phase" of going through something? Or were we just stuck with these feelings that we have no choice but to get used to them?

In this episode, the speakers discussed stories of Thomasians who stepped into something for a temporary period of time, only to find out that it actually shapes their path and sometimes, their identity.

But beyond these temporary-permanent situations going on in college life, it has a deeper and beyond surface level undertone: the emotional weight students carry behind the scenes. Many go through “phases” of loneliness, burnout, and self-doubt — but when do those feelings cross the line from fleeting emotions to something more serious?

Through honest reflections and lived experiences, we talk about emotional resilience, mental health, and the reality of student life within the walls of UST.

Let’s take a moment to reflect. 🪞

Every day, countless students wake up before the world does, catching buses or jeepneys while the sky is still dark. They carry their hopes, fears, and dreams in their backpacks. After a full day of classes, they take that same long ride home… this time under a sky with no more sunlight. All this for one goal: to chase a better future.
In this episode, we uncovered what it really feels like to live that life. It’s more than just about distance, it’s about dedication, resilience, and silent battles that many go through just to learn, to grow, and to not give up.

Did it hit home for you, too? Maybe you’re one of those students, or maybe you were.

Have you ever had to sacrifice sleep, rest, or comfort just to attend school?

We want to hear from you. This space is for all of us who know the grind, who’ve walked through dark mornings and darker evenings, all for the sake of a dream.

Before the world even begins to stir, they’re already out the door.

This episode is a tribute to the unsung heroes of student life: those who don’t have the comfort of a dorm, who travel hours every single day just to go to school. We’re talking about the students who rise before the sun and return home long after it’s set, balancing books, sleep, and survival on buses and sidewalks.

In this deeply personal episode, we explore the lives of commuting students: the fatigue, the missed meals, the loneliness, the small victories, and the quiet strength it takes to do it all over again the next day.

🎧 Whether you’re a student who lives this reality or someone who’s never had to, this episode is your chance to hear their side of the story.
