Please be informed that BOQ Immunization Services and all NCR Satellite Offices will be unavailable on April 09, 2026, in observance of the regular holiday. Normal operations will resume immediately afterward.

For the Main Office, Robinsons Manila, Ayala Fairview Terraces, and 81 Mall, services will resume on April 13, 2026.

For SM North, SM Moa, and Mckinley, services will resume on April 10, 2026.

In line with the directive of Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to implement urgent energy conservation measures across government agencies, the Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ) will adopt a Compressed Workweek schedule, effective March 16, 2026.

To optimize energy savings while maintaining uninterrupted public health services, our office will operate on an extended daily schedule.

During weeks with a public holiday, the schedule will revert to the standard operating hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Please refer to the attached updated operational schedule.

Public advisory

This advisory aims to clarify the BOQ Memorandum Circular No. 2025-04 under the implementing mechanism number (3), stating that "The Inactivated Polio Vaccine (IPV) administered at the Bureau of Quarantine shall be valid for a period of one year."

This recommendation is specifically for the identified states/countries infected with the potential risk of international spread.

The certificate is valid starting on the date of the vaccination and expires twelve (12) months (one year) from the start date of validity.

The date format shall be in day, month, year (dd-mm-yy).

As of 04 June 2025, the following countries are as follows:

Afghanistan
Pakistan
Mozambique
French Guiana (France)
Guinea
Please note that the aforementioned list of countries may change based on the International Health Regulations (IHR).
However, it is the traveler's obligation to verify the vaccination entry requirements at their country of destination.

Previously issued ICVP, or "yellow card," by the BOQ shall be recognized as considered valid for official use, including travel, employment, and other health requirements.

This is to inform the public that upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), work in government offices in Metro Manila on September 26, 2025 is suspended in view of the forecasted heavy rainfall that will be brought about by Severe Tropical Storm "OPONG".

All BOQ Services (Immunization, Physical Examination, Laboratory & Seminar) will be closed on the said date. Clients who are have booked appointments will be catered the following week.

This is to inform the public that upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), work in government offices in Metro Manila on September 22, 2025 is suspended in view of the forecasted heavy rainfall that will be brought about by Super Typhoon "Nando" and the Southwest Monsoon.

However, for clients who had already booked their appointments (vaccination and certification services) on the said date, you will still be catered to in your respective BOQ NCR Offices until 12:00 NN only.
