In the virtue of

compassion to serve in Alpha Phi Omega, the provision for healthcare through assistance in the medical needs in this brotherhood is essential. The committee was emanated during the time of our Past National President Marcelino "Tatang" Ferry on the DY 2019-2021. It was a national service program whose purpose was
to reach out to our fellow Filipinos by conducting a quarterly Medical/Surgical/Dental Mission in line with the NEC/BOT meeting, which was usually conducted a day prior the meeting. When the pandemonium started, the mobilization of the said committee was abruptly stopped; hence, the prohibition of these healthcare services. In this DY 2021-2023, National President Sis Norma Singson-De Leon concluded to continue the program that would deliver again healthcare to our fellowmen. The limitations of the services that the previous committees could provide was now given a more heightened intervention that would fuse both the medical and dental services, and also acquire more allied health professionals. The integration of brothers and sisters from different specializations in healthcare led to its new name, The Committee on National Service for Health.

“A Century of Service”

Since 1925, Alpha Phi Omega has stood as a steadfast symbol of Leadership, Friendship, and Service—principles that continue to guide every act of compassion and every mission we undertake. Rooted in these ideals, we once again answer the call to serve, reaching out to the communities of Boracay Island with renewed purpose and unwavering dedication.

On May 14, the Alpha Phi Omega Philippines Alumni Council of North America, in collaboration with APO Philippines, APO Boracay Alumni Association, and APO National Service for Health, will conduct an International Humanitarian Medical, Dental, Surgical Mission, and Blood Typing Mega Service.

This initiative transcends the act of service itself—it is a profound expression of humanity in action. It is in these moments that Leadership is shown through initiative, Friendship is strengthened through unity, and Service is fulfilled through compassion. We believe that true service is not merely given, but felt—bringing healing where there is pain, comfort where there is uncertainty, and hope where it is most needed.

With hearts full of gratitude, we extend our sincerest appreciation to our generous sponsors, partners, and donors whose unwavering support has made this mission possible:

Rest in peace
Brod. Dr. Junnie Rosales💙

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Chairman Dr. Rodolfo “Junnie” Rosales, Jr.

He was not only a remarkable leader, but also a mentor, a guiding light, and a second father to many. His dedication to his patients, his passion for teaching, and his unwavering support for his colleagues have left a lasting impact on all of us.

We have witnessed his courage, his sacrifices, and even the quiet moments of his struggles—yet he continued to lead with compassion and grace. His legacy will live on in the countless lives he has touched and the values he has instilled in each of us.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. May he rest in peace.🙏🏼
