Ordering food, paying at the counter, waiting for their meals, and enjoying lunch—Ryu and Xavier did it all on their own at McDonald’s. These real-life experiences help them build confidence, practice communication, and learn everyday routines in natural settings.
Moments like this also give the community a chance to see what inclusion really looks like. When people see individuals with autism actively participating in daily activities, it helps remove stigma and reshape how we understand ability.
