𝓛𝓞𝓞𝓚 : On 20 October 2025, CGDS Dental Officers attended the 3D3 Conference: “Data-Driven Dentistry – Enhancing Case Acceptance through Dental AI” held at the Armed Forces of the Philippines Commissioned Officers Club (AFPCOC) Tajeros Hall, Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.

The CGDS was represented by LCDR ALVIN JASON Q SADORRA (DS) PCG, LCDR JUSTIN JOSEPH N EUSTAQUIO (DS) PCG, LT AL KHUDRI A YUSOP (DS) PCG, LT JEFFERSON G TRUBE (DS) PCG, LT KAIZY JETH Y ROSARIO (DS) PCG AND LT CAMILLE ANNE A CONTRERAS (DS) PCG.

The conference aimed to explore the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in modern dental practice, focusing on its impact on diagnostic accuracy, treatment efficiency, and patient case acceptance. Through lectures and demonstrations, the seminar highlighted how data-driven technologies are reshaping the future of dentistry, empowering practitioners to deliver more precise, efficient, and patient-centered care.

The event gathered members of the AFP Dental Chapter, civilian dental professionals, and other oral health practitioners, organized in partnership with Insights Diagnostic and St. Patrick’s Medical Systems.

The participation of Coast Guard Dental Officers in scientific fora such as this underscores the Philippine Coast Guard’s continued commitment to professional development and to adopting innovative approaches that enhance the quality of dental health services rendered to its personnel and the communities it serves.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: On 14 October 2025, CGDS actively participated in the PCG Retiree’s Day activity organized by the Coast Guard Human Resources Management Command (CGHRMC) through the Coast Guard Retirement and Benefit Administration Service (CGRBAS). The event took place at Function Hall , Associated Marine Officers’ and Seamen’s Union of the Philippines (AMOSUP) in Intramuros, Manila.

The activity aimed to commemorate the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Retiree’s by providing essential medical service oral health promotion, distribution of denture adhesive and toothpaste to Retired personnel, emphasizing the organization’s continued care and appreciation for its members beyond active service.

The event served as an opportunity for retirees to revisit their former workplace, reconnect with colleagues, and reflect on their years of service. It also strengthened PCG camaraderie and demonstrated the institution’s commitment to supporting the overall well-being and health of its retirees.

𝓛𝓞𝓞𝓚: In celebration of the upcoming 124th Philippine Coast Guard Anniversary, the Office of the Coast Guard Dental Surgeon (OTCGDS) successfully conducted a Simultaneous Medical and Dental Mission at Sulsugin Elementary School, Alfonso, Cavite on 07 October 2025.

This outreach activity was a joint initiative led by COMMO RODOLFO S INGEL JR (DS) PCG, Coast Guard Dental Surgeon, in collaboration with the Coast Guard Medical Service, OB Montessori Community Foundation, Barangay Sulsugin, Sulsugin Elementary School, UST Golden Cross and Saber Alumni Association, and Preziosa Farm.

The mission aimed to extend free and accessible medical and dental care to residents of Sulsugin, particularly those from underserved communities. Through the combined efforts of participating organizations, beneficiaries received quality healthcare services, health education, and oral hygiene awareness.
