We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who shared their support. This week, Bahay Tuluyan distributed groceries and essential items to 160 families affected by the massive fire in Happyland, Tondo.

Our efforts to assist continue. Donations, especially school supplies, may be delivered to Bahay Tuluyan, 2218 Leveriza St., Malate, Manila.

Tragically a massive fire has destroyed much of Happyland, Tondo, one of the extremely impoverished areas where BT's Street Education and Support program works. At least 900 families are estimated to be affected. Bahay Tuluyan is accepting donations of food or clothes to assist affected families. Donations can be delivered to Bahay Tuluyan, 2218 Leveriza St, Malate, Manila. .

In our Life Skills Education Session in Manila, children explored how actions and consequences go hand in hand.

This International Youth Day, we celebrate the hard work and growth of our SEYA (Social Enterprise Youth Associates).

Through our Social Enterprise and Self-Reliance Program, our youth take part in hands-on vocational training in agriculture and hospitality, building valuable skills, confidence, and leadership to create better futures.

Every day is a step forward. 💚

Last July 12, Bahay Tuluyan Football Club (BTFC) joined the Agila 4v4 All Acquire Mini Tournament. It was a big milestone for our BT Laguna girls as they played in their first-ever tournament after two months of training with AFT Philippines.

We’re so proud of their growth, teamwork, and determination on the field. Huge thanks to AFT Philippines for your incredible support and mentorship! ⚽

From June 2 to 28, youth leaders Ria and Honey represented Bahay Tuluyan at KidsView in Australia, a social justice initiative by BTPA and Bahay Tuluyan. Along with Roan, Program Staff, and Catherine, Executive Director, they spent a month engaging students in conversations about children’s rights.

Through their original play Dora and Boots in the World of Rights, they shared stories inspired by their own lives and the experiences of children in the Philippines. The performance ended with their personal stories of hope, showing how change began for them and encouraging other young people to take part in creating a more child-friendly world.

Thank you to BTPA - Empowering Children and Youth, the participating schools, and everyone who welcomed and supported this journey.

Over the weekend, staff, children, and youth from our centers took part in a rice planting activity at the Bahay Tuluyan Nature Farm.🌾 It was a day of teamwork and learning as we worked side by side in the field and gained a deeper appreciation for farming, food, and the effort behind every grain.

We just wrapped up our culminating and evaluation activity for our Safe-Tiki Street Education sessions on children’s rights, protection, and safety in Delpan.

We're now preparing for the next run, as we continue refining our modules and materials to make learning more engaging and empowering for children in street situations.
