SERVICE ADVISORY: Manila Water will undertake EMERGENCY facility works at Balara Treatment Plant 1 beginning 9:00 PM tonight, July 25, 2024. This activity will cause temporary low pressure to no water service in all brgys of the City of Manila being served by Manila Water Company

Interruption schedule will be from 9pm tonight until 5am tom

Water tankers are currently deployed to distribute potable water to affected areas while the activities are being completed.

Please report through our Customer Service Hotline 1627 or other consumer desk channels if you notice any changes in your water quality. ?

Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan announced this morning, August 13, 2023, Sunday, the passing of her father, former Manila Vice Mayor Danilo Lacuna.

In her social media post, the Lacuna family, through Mayor Honey Lacuna, the eldest of the five children, announced that former Vice Mayor Danny Lacuna died early Sunday morning surrounded by his family.

“A man of great service and compassion, Danny touched many, creating a life that spans further than just his years and into the hearts of us all where he will remain forever.”

Details of the wake will be announced later.

Danilo Bautista Lacuna served as Manila City Councilor from 1968 to 1975 and Vice Mayor of the City in the years 1970 to 1971, 1988 to 1992, and most recently 1998 to 2007. He also founded the local political party, Asenso Manileño, which produced former Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso and incumbent Mayor Honey Lacuna.

He is survived by his wife, Melanie “Inday”Lacuna and five children, Honey, Lei, Dennis, Liza, and Philip.
