Today, we celebrate two meaningful observances in February — Down Syndrome Consciousness Month and Heart Month — by honoring our brave children who embody both causes.
We gathered children with Down Syndrome who are also living with Congenital Heart Disease and have triumphed through open-heart surgeries and other medical challenges. Their stories are living testimonies of courage, faith, and resilience.
At the LBH Playhouse, we were blessed to welcome two generous sponsors who made this day-long celebration possible. As parents reunited, we revisited our journeys — the fears we faced, the tears we shed, and the unwavering faith that carried us through. In moments when nothing else mattered but saving our children’s lives, we surrendered everything to a Higher Power. Indeed, God remains at the center of this journey, and we continue to follow where He leads.
Today, we choose courage over fear, joy over sorrow, and gratitude over despair. We celebrate each day as a gift — reminded that we are stronger because of the bond we share, a bond rooted in love, compassion, and the decision to care.
Our heartfelt gratitude to Bloomfield Academy for spending your day with us and helping raise awareness about our advocacy. Thank you for reminding your students — our future leaders — that true leadership begins with empathy and service. To the faculty and parents, thank you for teaching the value of compassion and charity.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to RRC Pharma Enterprise, Inc./ Generika Drugstore (Novaliches) for choosing our community as one of the beneficiaries of your outreach program. Your generosity and willingness to collaborate mean so much to the families we serve.
To everyone who continues to walk this journey with us — thank you for opening your hearts and your doors to our most precious children.
Thank you for choosing to care.💙 💛
