3 Days to go and we're 50!

The Association of Private Duty Nurse Practitioners of the Philippines, Inc (APDNPP), is a national organization of highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurses in the Philippines. Since its founding in 1975, it has brought together nurses specializing in diverse fields — from critical and rehabilitative care, to neonatal, maternity, pediatric, postoperative, and intra-operative nursing.

Our members provide compassionate and professional care — whether collaborating with other health professionals in hospitals or serving patients with dedication in the comfort of their homes.

Established in 1975, APDNPP is a SEC-registered, non-political, non-profit, professional, and socio-civic organization. For five decades, its primary mission has been to uphold the best interests, well-being, and welfare of private duty nurses across the country.

With chapters in major hospitals throughout Metro Manila and beyond, APDNPP continues to be recognized by the Philippine Nurses Association (PNA).

On March 1, 1978, the organization was officially incorporated and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as a non-stock, non-profit group.

APDNPP’s life purpose is clear:
To uplift and champion the cause and welfare of private duty nurses as respected professionals in healthcare.

APDNPP Mission:

1.To be the center of excellence for standardized
Training and Education for Private Duty Nurses.

2.Tobethe Private Duty Nurse of choice among
Institutions and Home-Based Care among the nation.

3.To be internationally recognized as the Nursing
Organization specializing in Private Duty Nursing.

4. To be the center of Membership for Nurses
practicing Private Duty Nursing

5. To continuously uplift the cause and welfare of
members and those returning to the Profession.

Member Benefits include:

The flexibility to practice your profession according to your availability, whether in hospitals or home settings.

The opportunity to earn more compared to regular staff nursing roles.

Access to institutionalized updates, training, and seminars, enhancing skills, knowledge, and attitudes in private duty nursing.

For 50 years, APDNPP has stood as a pillar of excellence, compassion, and professionalism — ensuring that private duty nurses remain empowered, recognized, and equipped to provide the highest level of care for patients and their families.

Now with hundreds of members and 17 chapters nationwide, the Association is NOT DONE, but still growing… not only in numbers, but most of all in experience and expertise. By QUIETLY making a difference, ONE PATIENT AT A TIME

Celebrating 50 Years of APDNPP:
Sportsfest 2025

What an unforgettable day it was last May 28, 2025, at SureShot SportsVille, Tondo Manila! The APDNPP annual Sportsfest this year turned into a grand celebration as we marked our 50th anniversary in style! 🎉
For the first time ever, the whole building was rented out, offering members the opportunity to enjoy an incredible variety of sports and activities. Whether it was Bowling, Billiards, Badminton, Basketball, Bingo, or swimming, there was something for everyone to try and enjoy! Private Duty Nurses shed their scrubs for a day and came together to play, compete, sing, dance, and share laughter with chapter members from APDNPP Nationwide. 🏀🎱🎳🏊‍♀️🎤✨
This extraordinary event wasn't just about games and fun—it was a celebration of unity and FUN. By the end of the day, we all learned a valuable lesson: camaraderie plays an essential role in a nurse's life, whether inside or outside the hospital. 💙

🏆 Here are the winners of the day:

Bowling Chapter Champion: GCPDN Global City Private Duty Nurses
Bowling Chapter Runner-up: Capitol Medical Center/Metropolitan Medical Center Chapter
Bowling Individual Highest Scorer: Christian Sanico of Manila Chapter
Billiards Champion: Don Gaerlan - SLPDNMA San Lucas Private Duty Nurses and Midwives Association
Billiards Runner-up: Genesis Earl Domingo of Cardinal Santos Medical Center
