Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday as we celebrated World COPD Day at USTH! 💙🫁

This year’s theme, “Short of Breath, Think COPD,” reminds us that COPD is very common but often missed or diagnosed too late.

If someone easily gets short of breath, has a long-standing cough, produces phlegm, or has long-term exposure to smoke, cooking fumes, or pollution, it could already be COPD. Early check-ups lead to earlier treatment and a better quality of life.

Our lay forum helped patients and families understand COPD in simple, practical terms and learn how to protect their lungs.

We also highlighted the USTH COPD Clinic, which provides early screening, patient education, and long-term support for individuals living with COPD.

Together, let’s continue promoting early recognition, better management, and better breathing for all. 🌤️💛💙
