Dr. Virgil Lo earned his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery; and finished his residency in Internal Medicine at Makati Medical Center in 2015. He then underwent further training in Obesity Medicine & Bariatric Endoscopy at China Medical University Hospital, Taiwan in 2023 and Advanced Endoscopic Ultrasound at Midas Hospital, India in 2025. During his fellowship, he has received numerous awards both locally and internationally. He holds the record as the first ever and only Fellow to earn Best Researches from all three National GI Societies (Philippine Society of Gastroenterology, Philippine Society of Digestive Endoscopy and Hepatology Society of the Philippines) in the same academic year. In 2021, he was recognized as one of the Most Outstanding P*P Researchers by the Philippine College of Physicians. Dr. Lo is passionate and dedicated to excellence in Gastroenterology and hopes to contribute to the advancement of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy in the Philippines.

✅Ito ay namumuo sa pamamagitan ng pagbuo ng cholesterol or bile salts
✅75% ng mga may gallstones ay walang nararamdaman (asymptomatic) AT HINDI KAILANGAN MAG PA-OEPRA❗️

✔️Isa sa pinakamabisang way na maging healthy ay panatilihin ang ating ideal body weight for height (i-google niyo na lang para malaman ang inyong tamang timbang)

✔️Pag namaintan na natin ito…ay dapat may proper diet and exercise tayo…iwasan ang high carb, sugar and cholesterol foods. Ugaliing mag exercise at least 3-4x a week

✔️Nang sa ganoon, ay maprevent natin ang mga sakit…lalo na ang high blood at diabetes
