Feels great to be back in the halls of the operating room complex of the UP-Philippine General Hospital. It's indeed a blessing to be able to provide high-quality health care to indigent Filipino patients, and at the same time, to be able teach resident physicians-in-training and medical students. 🙏🏽

The first ever UPCM-PGH FESS-Anterior Skull Base Course was a massive success thanks to the leadership of its course directors Dr. Archie Cabungcal and Dr. Kenny Seng. The presence of Professor Prepageran Narayanan, a leading figure among otolaryngologist-skull base surgeons in southeast Asia, was instrumental in the success of the course. The participation of otolaryngologists and neurosurgeons from all over the Philippines is a great start for its advocacy of promoting the partnership between the said specialties in the management of diseases of the midline skull base through endoscopic approaches.

Thank you very much for supporting our celebration of the World Head and Neck Cancer Day last July 27! As otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeons, it's our responsibility to spread awareness about cancer, especially in the head and neck. I hope you learned something during our program!
