We're glad that we have our patients (manikins) here to provide you a safe environment to unleash all your learnings without fear of harm.

S/p Simulation Saturdays of the PGH Department of Anesthesiology!

This session featured structured, high-fidelity simulation activities designed to strengthen residents’ clinical judgment, refine technical skills, and enhance crisis resource management in anesthetic practice. Through immersive scenarios and guided debriefings, participants were challenged to think critically, communicate effectively, and work cohesively as a team.

A meaningful and well-facilitated day dedicated to advancing excellence in training and patient safety. 👏

Block W & Y of LU7 Class of 2026 successfully completed their SURG 260 Post-Operative Monitoring Simulation! 👏

Surgery might be done, but patient care definitely isn’t! The real work continues after the patient leaves the OR room. So stay sharp, keep an eye on those vitals, and always review the history carefully. 👀🩺

Two days ago, Block 2 of LU5 Class of 2028 just wrapped up their OBGYN 250 Pelvic Exam and Pap Smear Skills Lab, a focused and hands-on session using our pelvic mentor and pelvic exam task trainers.
