Following the Stoma Masterclass, PSCRS held two more pre-congress workshops on March 11 and 12, 2026 regarding laparoscopic colorectal surgery and enhanced recovery after surgery, respectively. These were done in the Ambrosio F. Tangco Conference Room in the Spine Unit of the Philippine General Hospital.

We hope and thank everyone who attended the workshops! We hope you guys had much fun as we had!

The Philippine Society of Colon and Re**al Surgeons, in collaboration with the Ostomy Nurses Association of the Philippines, kicked off the 16th International Scientific Meeting with the first pre-congress yesterday, March 10, 2026, at the Valdez Hall, Veterans Memorial Medical Center.

Dr. Marc Paul Lopez was invited to talk and share his knowledge on the Philippine experience in peritoneal surface malignancies in the 3rd Singhealth Peritoneal Surface Oncology Conference. He talked about the CRS++ HIPEC Project and how it expands the reach of experts to the different islands of the country.
