On October 20, 2025, the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery successfully performed the first scarless transoral robot-assisted thyroidectomy in the country.

This pioneering procedure represents a significant advancement in surgical care, offering patients:
✔️ No visible neck scar for improved cosmetic outcomes
✔️ Enhanced precision and safety through robotic technology
✔️ Faster recovery and reduced post-operative discomfort

MGA SERBISYO SA PGH

Mula 2019, naihandog ng PGH Robotic Surgery Program ang abot-kaya, makabago, at mabisang operasyon sa mga kababayang nanangilangan.

Nagamit ang robot sa iba-ibang operasyon sa general surgery, thoracic surgery, gynecology, urology, kidney transplant, head and neck surgery, kasama ang oral surgery, at pediatric surgery.

Para sa mga karagdagang tanong o kaalaman, maaaring magpakonsulta sa PGH OPD Surgery Clinic, sa PGH OPD OB-GYN para sa gynecologic surgery, o sa PGH OPD ORL-HNS clinic para sa head and neck at oral surgery.
