HIV is not a death sentence, but the stigma that comes along with it can feel like one. ❤️‍🩹

In the Philippines, 57 individuals are diagnosed with HIV every single day. Yet, the conversation often remains a whisper. We need to speak up and be informed. Whether it’s through PrEP, regular testing, or supporting those on ART, we have the tools to turn the tide. 🗣️

Each statistic represents someone’s future that’s worth protecting. This World AIDS Day, let’s normalize the conversation. Let’s make testing a routine, treatment a right, and judgement a thing of the past. 🎗️

Ang HIV ay hindi isang hatol na kamatayan, ngunit ang diskriminasyong kalakip nito ay parang parusa na rin sa buhay. ❤️‍🩹

Sa Pilipinas, 57 indibidwal ang nada-diagnose na may HIV kada araw. Gayunpaman, madalas pa ring idinadaan sa bulong ang usapang ito. Kailangan nating magsalita at maging mulat. Sa pamamagitan man ng PrEP, regular na testing, o pagsuporta sa mga sumasailalim sa ART, mayroon tayong mga paraan para baguhin ang daloy ng sitwasyon. 🗣️

Ang bawat numero ay paalala na mayroong kinabukasan ng isang taong na dapat nating protektahan. Ngayong World AIDS Day, gawin nating normal ang usapang ito. Gawin nating bahagi ng buhay ang pagpapasuri, karapatan ang gamutan, at gawin nating bahagi ng nakaraan ang panghuhusga. 🎗️

The UP Pre-Medical Society will be celebrating the Christmas spirit with the children of 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗕𝗼𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗞𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿, which will be held on December 13, 2025.
