AIR QUALITY SA MAYNILA, NASA “GOOD” LEVEL NA

Ayon sa Department of Environment and Public Services – Manila, naitala ang GOOD Air Quality Index (AQI) sa apat na air quality monitoring stations ng lungsod ngayong Abril 27, 2026, alas-7:00 ng umaga.

Kabilang sa mga monitored areas sa ilalim ng Asia Blue Skies Project ang Puregold Tayuman, Anda Circle, San Sebastian Residences, at Sta. Ana Hospital.

Ipinapakita nito ang mas malinis at mas ligtas na kalidad ng hangin sa mga nasabing lugar. Gayunman, hinihikayat pa rin ang mga Manileño na patuloy na magsuot ng face mask bilang karagdagang proteksyon, lalo na ang mga bata, senior citizens, buntis, at may respiratory illness.

Patuloy ang Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Maynila, sa pamamagitan ng DEPS, sa pagbabantay sa kalidad ng hangin upang mapangalagaan ang kalusugan ng publiko.

🚨 AIR QUALITY ALERT: PROTECT YOUR LUNGS NOW 😷

Air quality in Manila has reached VERY UNHEALTHY levels as reported by the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department early this morning (April 27, 2026).

Smoke from the ongoing fire at the Navotas Landfill may still be affecting nearby areas, especially around Puregold Tayuman and surrounding communities.

⚠️ This is not just haze—it can affect your breathing and overall health.

San Beda University Health Office – Manila reminds everyone:

😷 Mask up before stepping outside
🏠 Stay indoors if you can
🚫 Avoid unnecessary travel/exposure
💧 Hydrate & watch for symptoms (cough, sore throat, dizziness, breathing difficulty)

👶🏻👵🏼👴🏻🤰🏻 Extra caution for vulnerable groups: children, elderly, pregnant individuals, and those with asthma or other respiratory conditions.

ADVISORY: MAGSUOT NG FACEMASK 😷

Ayon sa Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department, naitala ng air quality sensors sa apat na monitored locations ang “Very Unhealthy” na antas ng hangin sa karamihan ng sensors sa lungsod at karatig-lugar bandang 12:00 AM, Abril 27, 2026.

Batay sa datos, posibleng nakaaapekto pa rin ang patuloy na sunog sa Navotas Landfill, kasabay ng direksyon ng hangin patungo sa Maynila at mga kalapit na lungsod.

Mahigpit na pinapayuhan ang publiko, lalo na sa paligid ng Puregold Tayuman, na iwasan muna ang paglabas kung hindi kinakailangan at magsuot ng face mask bilang proteksyon.

Ang mga bata, senior citizens, buntis, at may respiratory illness tulad ng hika ay pinapayuhang manatili muna sa loob ng bahay.

Manatiling alerto at subaybayan ang mga susunod na air quality updates.
