𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐬𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞? If you're already in Australia and have experience in HR, I'd say do it. It's in demand and can be a good pathway to stay.

𝐓𝐫𝐲 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧. Go in with confidence in your experience! There will be a learning curve, it could be steep or walk in the park for you, but you've already made the first (and I'd say the most difficult one) of moving here. So, the next steps could be done too! All the best! 😊🩷

𝑴𝒂𝒚 𝒑𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑩𝑨/𝑩𝑺 𝒑𝒔𝒚𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒚 𝒅𝒆𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒆. Ito yung mga industries and roles you can do with just a psychology undergraduate degree! Watch the video, and here are some tips!

1. 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭! Starting with following and liking, I'll make more of these videos and when we can 'Live', usap usap din tayo 😊 Research from the main websites and connect with people from experience (again like and follow? 😁🫰)

2. 𝐆𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞! 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬 (𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲). Pero make sure na it is almost close to, if not the same, sa trabaho goal sa Australia 🇦🇺

3. 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞 (𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧) 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐞𝐭. This is the most important I would say. You can come in for work, but you can also come to stay, FOREVER! 😁 Find out which opportunity will give you that result!

𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒃𝒆 𝒂 𝒑𝒔𝒚𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒊𝒔𝒕 𝒂𝒃𝒓𝒐𝒂𝒅, but be wise and intentional sa university and mga subject choices that you will take for your masters or PhD. Here are some tips:

1. 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 to your target country, as much as possible. Hanapin mo yung university sa Philippines that will give you the best chance to 'convert' your degree.

2. 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀. Kung may chance to choose units or courses in therapy, do them! The more hands on, the better. Here in Australia, units sa psychology are very applied. My favourite subjects in my masters are the most practical and hands on ones.

3. 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗯𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀. The best time to learn as a 'baby psychologist' is through supervision. Clock in as much as you can. It is an expectation that you are supervised while you are being trained, and you will definitely need to prove that to convert from Ph to overseas psychologist.

Today is World Su***de Prevention Day. This year’s theme is “Changing the Narrative on Su***de”. That means talking more openly, listening without judgment, and shifting from silence to support. Here are 3 simple things we can all remember: ✅ Su***de can affect anyone. You might not see the struggle but that doesn’t mean it’s not there. ✅ Asking can make a difference. A simple “Are you okay?” can open up a conversation. Don’t be afraid to check in. ✅ We all have a role to play. Being kind, being present, and showing we care really matters. When it matters, choose connection over silence. Let’s be part of a culture that supports, listens, and stands together.

So often, we think parts of ourselves are broken, messy, or unworthy. We try to push them away, hide them, or silence them. But the truth is, there are no bad parts. Every part of us, even the ones that carry pain or fear, has a story and a purpose. When we listen with compassion instead of judgment, we begin to see that these parts are simply trying to protect us in the only way they know how. Imagine what changes when you stop fighting yourself and start welcoming yourself instead. Healing begins not in rejection, but in acceptance. You are whole. You've always been whole. And every part of you deserves a seat at the table.
