Dr. Carolina Paula Martin, Asst. Hospital Director of Ospital ng Maynila Medical Center, reiterated to the Medical, Nursing and Administrative management team that the main duty of the hospital is to serve the patients.

Dr. Martin said during the monthly directional meeting on August 06 that the mission and vision of the hospital to be a good training ground for resident physicians and students should translate to the kind of service it provides.

"OMMC is primarily a service hospital. We are here to serve our patients,” Dr. Martin said.

“While we serve, we become privileged to have good residency training programs for all the departments of OMMC,” she added.

With this, she emphasized the need to focus on quality clinical service delivery through efficient guidance of the training programs with adequate assistance and support of the division chiefs.

All of these, Dr. Martin said, are aligned with the service programs of the hospital administration.
