In observance of the Lenten season, please be advised that the NHSRC will implement a Work-from-Home (WFH) arrangement on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

Consequently, payment processing and the pickup of registry seals at the NHSRC and Cash Office will be suspended and will resume on Monday, April 6, 2026.

Last January 30, we held an insightful session of the UP Med Webinars 2026 focusing on the "Development of a Hearing Screening Device." 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘:

In compliance with Memorandum Circular No. 114 issued by the Office of the President and Joint Memorandum OVPAA-OVPA 2026-01, University of the Philippines Manila hereby adopts the implementing guidelines for energy conservation and a compressed workweek. This temporary four-day schedule will take effect tomorrow, Monday, March 9, 2026.

Under this arrangement, the NHSRC office will be closed every Monday. Consequently, the following services will be suspended on Mondays:

Pickup of registry seals
Walk-in payments at the Cash Office

Normal operations will resume from Tuesday to Friday to ensure that all public needs are met without delay.

The HeLe project, an Automated Auditory Brainstem Response device for hearing screening test, is transforming the Philippines from a consumer of foreign medical technology into a manufacturer of high-end local innovations. Currently at Technology Readiness Level 7, the project has moved from the lab to real-world clinical trials.

The ambitious roadmap includes a nationwide rollout across all Newborn Hearing Screening Centers, ultimately integrating with the Electronic National Newborn Hearing Screening Registry. This digital shift will unify pediatric auditory data and streamline referrals, marking a major milestone in the country's journey toward universal hearing health.
