𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗙𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗛 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡! 💙🩷

In line with the national celebration of Breastfeeding Awareness Month, the USTH Department of Nursing Services, in collaboration with the Mother-Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative Committee (MBFHI), successfully conducted a CPD-accredited Lactation Management Training Workshop from July 29–31, 2025.

Held at the BCI Coffeeshop, the 3-day intensive training gathered passionate healthcare professionals committed to advancing maternal and neonatal care through evidence-based lactation practices. Participants deepened their knowledge on breastfeeding physiology, counseling techniques, common breastfeeding challenges, and hospital-based strategies to support exclusive breastfeeding.

The workshop featured expert speakers, hands-on skills demonstrations, and engaging group activities—all aimed at strengthening our organization’s commitment to being a truly Mother-Baby Friendly Hospital.

This initiative reinforces our dedication to empowering nurses and healthcare workers to be champions of breastfeeding and responsive newborn care.

Together, we promote, protect, and support breastfeeding—today and every day.
