Why do I give vouchers for free ROJoson Medical Consultation?

Since 2020 up to present (2026), I have been giving vouchers for ROJoson Medical Consultations either Telemedical Consultations or Face-to-Face Medical Consultations.

NOTE: I am not giving out vouchers for free ROJoson Medical Consultations for purposes of promoting revenues to my ROJoson Medical Clinic.

I have been giving out vouchers for two reasons. Essentially, for motivating reason and the other reason, encouraging patients to consult as needed and as early as possible.

The vouchers are essentially motivating awards in the ROJoson Cancer Crusaders Club Virtual Meet Program and ROJoson PEP Talks.

They are intended to motivate participation in the ROJoson Cancer Crusaders Club Annual Christmas Get-Together (voucher awards for cancer jubilarians; quiz-evaluation-feedback of the virtual meet; special awards such as most recent cancer crusaders attending virtual meet, oldest, longest cancer survivors, longest cancer crusader, family-viewing-learning-bonding awards).

They are also intended to motivate attendance and learning in the ROJoson PEP Talks held every Saturday afternoon from 2 to 3 pm which started in 2021. Starting 2024, I have changed the requirements of OLETE (Online Learning cm Evaluation Test Exercise) Certificates associated with the ROJoson PEP Talks from 50 to 25. So, starting 2024, obtaining 25 OLETE certificates would entitle one mentee to a voucher for a free ROJoson Medical Consultation either Telemedical Consultation or Face-to-Face Medical Consultation.

The giving of vouchers for free ROJoson Medical Consultations, aside from its motivating reason, constitutes part of my ROJoson Compassionate Humanitarian Program (essentially, encouraging patients to consult as needed and as early as possible). A lot of my cancer patients don’t come for the needed regular follow-up. A reason could be the cost of medical consultation fee. Another reason, not giving importance to the need for regular follow-up. To encourage follow-ups, I give vouchers for free ROJoson Medical Consultation. [NOTE: if there is a need, I give free medical consultations to Patients with Financial Disability also even without voucher.]

Giving out vouchers for free ROJoson Medical Consultations is and will be considered one of my legacies for my patients.

What is the risk of cancer of benign follicular nodule or colloid adenomatous goiter?

The risk of cancer in a benign follicular nodule is very low. A diagnosis of “benign” after a fine-needle aspiration biopsy is considered reliable, and most people do not require surgery or further invasive testing. However, because no test is perfect, doctors may recommend regular monitoring to watch for any changes. This may include repeat ultrasounds and, in some cases, a second biopsy if the nodule grows or develops new features.
