The Girl Scouts of the Philippines wishes to thank the Friends of Asia Pacific- Philippines. Under the term of FAPW Working Group Member Ms. Sammay Yuquico, GSP was awarded an entitlement to a grant afforded to a mother organization whose FAPW chapter reached a donation of GBP 6,000. We also extend our gratitude to FAPW-Philippines Chapter President Ms. Teresita Gonzalez, Country Coordinator Dr. Christine Aranilla, and the friends and donors of FAPW-Philippines Chapter.

Girl Scouts of the Philippines proudly took part in the 8th Friends of Asia Pacific WAGGGS General Assembly held in Brisbane, Australia, joining fellow Girl Guides and Girl Scouts across the region in advancing leadership, governance, and community engagement for girls and young women.

The gathering was graced by the esteemed presence of 𝐇𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐲 𝐇𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐀𝐳𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠, Royal Patron of FAPW, whose attendance highlighted a shared commitment to empowering the next generation of women leaders. The event was also hosted with the support of the Governor of Queensland, 𝐇𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐂 𝐏𝐒𝐌.

Representing the Philippines were distinguished delegates: 𝐃𝐫. 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐏. 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚, FAPW Philippines Country Coordinator and FAPW-Philippines Chapter Country Coordinator; 𝐌𝐬. Get ready for the exciting Family Adventure Camp 2026! 👨👩👧👦

With the theme, “GSP FamCamp: Family Time is Fun Time,” this event offers GSP families a wonderful opportunity to bond and enjoy quality time together through the Girl Scouting program. 💕

This is open to a maximum of 25–30 Girl Scout families (3 to 5 members per family), or up to 125 family campers, duly endorsed by their GS Councils and Regions. Families will stay together in tents. ⛺
