ENGAGE: Community Action Project Prep – planning our ideas to make a lasting impact.

We ended the day with a joyful campfire, filled with songs, laughter, and friendship. 🔥✨

Cadet Girl Scout Mary Jane Fornis will proudly represent the Girl Scouts of the Philippines at the SDGs In Action event held at the Sangam World Centre in Pune, India.

This international leadership gathering will focus on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2, 3, and 12—Zero Hunger, Good Health and Well-Being, and Responsible Consumption and Production. As part of her commitment, MJ’s project will be implemented next month, bringing her learnings into real-world action.

To prepare her for this journey, the GSP Training Division and International Affairs Division conducted a Pre-Departure Orientation. Adding heartfelt support and wisdom, her Ate’s and Tita shared valuable insights on what to expect, including:

• 🟢 International Commissioner Rose Jade Eugenie S. Delgado
• 🟢 Program Director Jade V. Reyes
• 🟢 JLS Scholar Krisha Mae Bugaling

With this strong foundation, we know MJ is fully equipped and more than ready to represent the Philippines and make a meaningful impact.

☘️💚The Girl Scouts of the Philippines proudly joined the celebration of the Founding Anniversary of Quezon City and Museum and Galleries Month held on October 24, 2025, at the Quezon Heritage House, Quezon Memorial Circle.

The event highlighted the opening of the Doña Aurora Legacy Room, commemorating the life and advocacy of Doña Aurora Aragon Quezon — a true symbol of humanitarian leadership and women empowerment.

Thirteen (13) Senior and Cadet Girl Scouts and four (4) Troop Leaders from the Quezon City Girl Scout Council participated the meaningful celebration, which featured a guided museum tour, a performance by the Quezon City Symphonic Band, and engaging public activities.

Through this participation, the GSP continues to live by the ideals of service, leadership, and civic engagement inspired by Doña Aurora’s legacy.☘️💚
