Pinangunahan ni Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso ang regular Directional Meeting kasama ang lahat ng department heads at bureau directors ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Maynila.

Sa naturang pagpupulong, ibinahagi rin ng alkalde ang kanyang pagkadismaya sa ilang flood control projects. Aniya, isisiwalat niya ang mga kongresistang umano’y nananamantala at nakikinabang sa mga proyektong ito sa halip na makapagbigay ng tunay na solusyon sa problema ng pagbaha sa lungsod.

"Tayo ang may pinakamalaking flood control, 14 billion pesos at tayo rin ang pinakabaha na siyudad. Every now and then, kawawa naman ang mga taga Maynila. Sad to say. I hope this ongoing investigation against some congressmen na mahilig makielam sa food control project, isisiwalat din natin sa taumbayan yung mga distrito na may malalaking flood control project, in a matter of time. That's why hindi tayo pwedeng magpahinga kahit na holiday"., ani Mayor Isko.

Ang desisyon ukol sa operasyon ng mga pribadong kumpanya at opisina ay ipinauubaya sa kanilang pamunuan.

Pinapayuhan ang lahat na maging maingat, iwasan ang mga mapanganib na lugar, at manatiling nakatutok sa mga opisyal na abiso at update mula sa pamahalaan.
