Dinalaw po tayo sa City Hall ngayong hapon ng Sabado nina 1st District Congressman Ernix Dionisio, 3rd District Congressman Joel Chua, at 5th District Congressman Irwin Tieng ng Lungsod ng Maynila.

Tulad ng pagdalaw sa atin ni 4th District Congresswoman Giselle Maceda kamakailan, ang tatlo nating mambabatas ay naglahad din ng kani-kanilang inisyatiba sa kanilang distrito, bagay na aking ipinagpapasalamat.

Hanggad natin na mapabilis ang delivery ng basic services sa mga taga Maynila sa pamamagitan ng tulungan ng national at local government officials sa kapitolyo ng ating bansa.

Ang Ospital ng Tondo mula sa pamumuno ni OIC - Hospital Director Dr. Edwin C. Perez ay nakiisa sa City-Wide Clean-Up Drive alinsunod sa Executive Order No. 3 ni Hon. Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” M. Domagoso, ang mandatory clean-up drive tuwing Sabado sa lungsod ng Maynila.

The Local Promotion Board Committee of Ospital ng Tondo, under the leadership of OIC Hospital Director Dr. Edwin C. Perez, convened for an important meeting to deliberate on vacant positions and applicants, and to further align with the standards of the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM).

As part of the agenda, the Human Resource staff provided a review and discussion of the HRMD-RSP form, which will serve as a guide for the committee in the proper scoring and evaluation of applicants.

The committee also discussed clarifications, the schedule of the next promotion board meeting, and other concerns to ensure the smooth conduct of the succeeding deliberations.

Documentation of Patient Care with Emphasis on FDAR

The Ospital ng Tondo Nursing Service Office (NSO), under the visionary leadership of Chief Nurse Tita Marie Santander-Salcedo, MAN, RN, RM, together with the unwavering support of our OIC Hospital Director, Dr. Edwin C. Perez, successfully hosted a seminar on “Documentation of Patient Care with Emphasis on Focus, Data, Action, and Response (FDAR)” last August 27, 2025.

This seminar aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of our nursing staff in accurate, comprehensive, and patient-centered documentation—a vital tool in ensuring quality care, continuity of treatment, and patient safety.

It was indeed a day of learning and growth, as participants gained valuable insights from our esteemed guest speaker, Mr. Orlando V. Santos, RN, EMR, MAN(c) – Faculty, Clinical Instructor, and Certified Infusion Nurse Preceptor of Our Lady of Fatima University.

We also extend our appreciation to the Nursing Education and Training Section (NETS) headed by Ms. Ma. Eleanor C. Ching, RN, whose dedication and supervision made this event a remarkable success.

Department of Health – Metro Manila Center for Health Development (DOH–MMCHD)

In line with the ongoing efforts to strengthen surveillance activities, the Disease Surveillance Officers (DSOs) from RESU and CESU conducted a courtesy call and facility visit at Ospital ng Tondo, warmly welcomed by our OIC Hospital Director, Dr. Edwin C. Perez.

We extend our gratitude to DOH–MMCHD for their continued support and partnership in advancing public health.

Ngayong araw, pormal na rin nating na-turn over sa MMDA ang Drainage Master Plan ng Maynila—na magsisilbing gabay o ‘blueprint’ ng mga flood control projects sa ating siyudad upang maging magkakakonekta ang bawat drainage system na gagawin at hindi na bara-bara o ‘mema’ lang ang proyekto.

Isinagawa rin natin ang malawakang paglilinis at declogging sa Taft Avenue corner Padre Faura Street katuwang ang MMDA sa pamumuno ni Chairman Romando Artes. Sa tulong ng kanilang vacuum truck, natanggal ang matagal nang bara at burak na nagdudulot ng pagbaha sa lugar.

Patunay ito na sa pagtutulungan ng lokal at pambansang pamahalaan, mas mabilis nating natutugunan ang mga suliranin gaya ng pagbaha.
