The Department of Physiology proudly congratulates our outstanding delegates for their remarkable achievements in two prestigious competitions—the International Inter-Medical School Physiology Quiz (IMSPQ) and the Dr. Agaton T. Panopio Jr. Inter-Medical School Physiology Quiz (PSP).

Among more than 400 participants from 17 countries, the University of the Philippines College of Medicine (UPCM) emerged as the only Philippine team to place in the top nine at the IMSPQ held at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, on July 16–18, 2025.

The team also garnered a semifinalist distinction in the PSP held at San Beda University, Manila, on June 28, 2025.

We celebrate this display of academic excellence in physiology and commend our students for bringing pride to the university on both local and international stages.
