WHO CAN TAKE THE BASIC LIFE SUPPORT TRAINING?

Every day, there are any number of events that can result in serious injury and cause a person to stop breathing. These occurrences require fast action and people who are knowledgeable and capable enough to provide helpful assistance. Here at Apo BlsAcls we offer life-saving training such as our BLS training. Because BLS training is often taken independently, you may wonder whether or not it is necessary or what the benefits are. This is an important question to ask, as it can help you to not only make the right decision on whether this type of training is right for you, but it can also help you to see all that we have to offer. Being trained in BLS, or basic life support, can be one of the most important steps that you can take in addition to obtaining certification and recertification as needed.

Nurses, Doctors, Medical Technoligies, Midwives, Teachers, Psychometricians, Housewife, Security Guards and even a bystander can be trained for BLS. In The Philippines it is a law that one must be equipped with knowledge in CPR (CPR Act or Republic Act 10871).

What is the difference between AHA and ASHI?

AHA vs ASHI

ASHI is equivalent to AHA in all 50 states in the US as regards cert acceptance for professional lifesavers (CNA's, EMT's, Medics, and so forth)

Endorsed, accepted, approved, or meets the requirements of 2,000 state regulatory agencies and occupational licensing boards.

Accredited organization by the Continuing Education Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS).

Professional level programs have been nationally approved by CECBEMS.
National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT)

Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Services (CAMTS) Explanation of Education Course Matrix Statement: ASHI (American Health & Safety Institute) and AHA courses are considered equivalent. CAMTS Matrix

Accepted as equivalent to the AHA in all states.
Department of Homeland Security.
United States Coast Guard.

ASHI’s training programs are nationally recognized and are endorsed, accepted, approved, or meet the requirements of nearly 2,000 state regulatory agencies and occupational licensing boards, including those licensing Emergency Medical Service providers, physicians, pharmacists, dental health professionals, child care providers, law enforcement officers, school teachers, and many others.

ASHI’s resuscitation programs for basic and advanced life support conform to national standards and are based on the same scientific guidelines and treatment recommendations used by the American Heart Association (AHA) and American Red Cross (ARC) for course development. ASHI professional resuscitation programs meet the requirements of the Joint Commission (JCAHO PC.9.30 revisions) and the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Services.
ASHI resuscitation programs are nationally approved by the Continuing Education Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS), and are accepted as equivalent to the AHA and ARC by most state regulatory authorities, the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT), the Department of Homeland Security, United States Coast Guard, and others.

ASHI CPR, AED, and first aid training programs are ideal for Instructors with emergency medical or other healthcare expertise. And we meet all requirements for CECBEMS-accredited professional responder training with our CPR Pro, ACLS, and PALS programs.
ASHI's resuscitation programs conform to national standards and are based on the same scientific guidelines and treatment recommendations found in the 2015 International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Science with Treatment Recommendations (CoSTR), the same as those used by the American Heart Association (AHA) and American Red Cross (ARC) for course development. All professional resuscitation programs meet the requirements of the Joint Commission and the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Services.
