【Guangzhou Modern Cancer Hospital - News】
Mr. Wu Wen Bor, a 60-year-old from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, was diagnosed with malignant tongue melanoma in October 2024. Despite undergoing surgical resection, the cancer recurred and metastasized to the cervical lymph nodes in February 2025. In late April, he came to our hospital for integrated minimally invasive treatment combining “particle implantation + interventional therapy.” Today, both tongue and neck tumors are inactive, with his condition significantly controlled.
After four months of treatment, Mr. Wu achieved his greatest wish—preserving his tongue. Before discharge, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to Dr. D**g and the medical team, even writing a lengthy thank-you letter. “I’m overwhelmed with gratitude and touched. Effective control of my condition wouldn’t have been possible without your meticulous care,” he said. His simple yet sincere words deeply inspired our entire medical staff.
At Guangzhou Modern Cancer Hospital, we firmly believe: every effort fuels hope for patients’ renewal. Mr. Wu’s story reaffirms the power of integrated minimally invasive therapy and underscores our compassionate, cross-border commitment to fighting cancer alongside patients.
